Providing genuine British flowers for:

Unique garden and hedgerow flowers for a wild and natural look.

Champernhayes Flowers & Foliage is a cutting garden full of British flowers.

Based near Bridport in rural West Dorset, we grow cut flowers and foliage to sell wholesale as well as doing floristry for weddings and other events, using the sculptural shapes, scents and subtlety of our own flora which are either native, or suited to growing outdoors in our cool and rainy climate.  We do not grow in heated greenhouses. Sustainability is key, so is being local, and working collaboratively with other flower producers from the brilliant Flowers from the Farm.

For some ideas of what might be on offer during the different seasons, click on our availability list here, or do please feel free to contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

“I had heard great things about Champernhayes. As an event organiser, I have a particular passion for flowers and having used many of London’s finest florists including Scarlet and Violet, Rob Van Helden and Wild at Heart I can honestly say that Champernhayes is up there with the best of them.” D.Shilling

From Wednesday the 28th March, for 3 weeks, we’re opening a pop-up shop in Bridport which will be open Weds – Sat, 11am – 4pm.

It’s at 42 East Street, Bridport (opposite the newly opened Literary and Scientific Institute). Sharon from Old Albion, and Kate from Rambling Rose and I are doing a collaboration of gorgeous seasonal flowers and foliage and salvage-style interiors and furniture, and it’s going to be groovy!! Please do come along and see.

We’ll also be running courses:

29th March: EASTER WREATH-MAKING WORKSHOP 11am – 1pm £40.
Thursday the 29th March will be our first workshop in the shop – 42 East Street in Bridport. Learn how to make a moss-based wreath in a few hours, using locally grown, seasonal flowers and foliage. The workshop will run from 11am to 1pm, with all materials provided, including tea and cake. You will then be able to take your gorgeous wreath home, and bring a bit of the outdoors in for the Easter holiday.

On Thursday the 5th April we’ll show you how to make a beautiful Spring table arrangement. You can bring your own small vase, or choose one of ours to buy. All other materials will be provided. Buckets of lovely seasonal foliage and flowers to choose from, as well as expert tuition from Kate and Zanna. Celebrate Spring, get creative, bring a friend if you want! Tea and cake provided.

12th April: FLORAL CROWN WORKSHOP 11am – 1pm. £40
The final workshop at our pop-up shop will take place on Thursday the 12th April. With our tuition you will learn how to wire a gorgeous Spring flower crown, using blossom and other seasonal beauties. This will be a real celebration of the arrival of Spring (and a bit of early excitement about the coming of Summer maybe). Tea and cake provided.
